Hi, I’m glad you found here. My name is Sami and I’m a IFMGA/UIAGM mountain guide (since 2015) from Finland, and a member of the SBO (Swedish Mountain Guide Association). I am a skier at heart, but climbing mountains is my passion. Growing up far away from the mountains, my love for them began as a teenager when I made my first trip to the Swiss Alps in 1996. I have had the privilege of visiting some wild places since then.
A highlight for me is still skiing from the top of Artesonraju in Peru's Cordillera Blanca, as well as summiting Fitz Roy via the long Afanassieff Route in Argentine Patagonia.
These days, most of my time in the mountains is spent skiing and climbing with my guests, which I truly enjoy. It feels good to share your passion, and I guide year-round in the European Alps and northern Norway.
Please don’t hesitate to contact, see you in the mountains!
